Lansinoh Contact Nipple Shields 20mm are soft, thin silicone shields designed to be used during breastfeeding when a mum and baby need extra help with latching. The unique cut-out design allows more skin-to-skin contact between mum and baby while the shield is in place. This pack contains 2 shields in the 20mm size, and nipple shields are best used with the advice of a breastfeeding professional.
Sterilise the shield before first use as described on the pack. Moisten the edge, turn the shield partly inside out, place it over the nipple and smooth the edges against the breast, then offer your baby the breast as usual. Choose the correct size with the advice of a lactation consultant, midwife or doctor, and speak to them if you have any concerns about latching or feeding.
