These Terms of Service apply to your use of avicenonline.com and the Avicen app, and to every order you place with us. The store is operated by Al Wanees Business International LLC, trading as Avicen Pharmacy ("Avicen", "we", "us"). By using the store or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return & Cancellation Policy.
Using the store
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or place an order.
- Please give true, current and complete information, including your name, mobile number and delivery location.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or are used for fraud.
Health products and information
- We sell non-prescription medicines and health, beauty, baby and wellness products. We do not sell or deliver prescription-only medicines online.
- Some products can only be sold after a pharmacist confirms they are suitable, and Ministry of Health rules may limit how certain products are sold or delivered. Our pharmacist may contact you, limit quantities or decline an item for your safety.
- Product descriptions, FAQs, blog articles and health tools on our site are for general information only. They do not replace advice from a doctor or pharmacist. Always read the label and leaflet, and ask a pharmacist if you are unsure. Our pharmacists are available on chat, WhatsApp and phone.
- Product images are for illustration. Packaging may change from time to time.
Prices and availability
- Prices are in Omani Rial (OMR). The total you pay, including any delivery fee and applicable VAT, is shown at checkout before you confirm.
- Stock is held at our Avicen Pharmacy branches and can change quickly. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you to offer a replacement or remove it and refund you.
- We work hard to keep prices and details accurate. If an item is listed at a clearly wrong price, we may cancel that item or order and give you a full refund.
Orders and payment
- Your order is a request to buy. A contract is formed when we accept and prepare your order. We will confirm your order by email (and in the app for app orders).
- We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, a pharmacist advises against it, we cannot reach you or confirm the delivery location, or we suspect fraud. If you have already paid, we refund you in full.
- You can pay by card, Apple Pay or Cash on Delivery. For Cash on Delivery, please have the exact amount ready when the rider arrives.
Delivery, cancellations and returns
Delivery options, times and charges are explained in our Shipping Policy. How to cancel an order, and when items can be returned, replaced or refunded, is explained in our Return & Cancellation Policy.
Offers and discount codes
- Offers and discount codes are valid only for the period and products stated, and while stock lasts.
- Unless stated otherwise, only one discount code can be used per order, codes cannot be exchanged for cash, and first-order codes are valid on your first order only.
- We may withdraw an offer or cancel orders that misuse a promotion.
Reviews and content you share
If you post a review, question or photo, it must be honest, lawful and about your own experience. Do not include personal health details of others, offensive language or advertising. We may remove content that breaks these rules, and you allow us to display the content you submit on our website, app and social media.
Acceptable use
You must not use the store for anything unlawful or harmful, upload viruses or malicious code, interfere with the site or its security, collect other users' data, copy our content or product data in bulk, or place orders for resale without our written agreement.
Intellectual property
The Avicen name and logo, and the text, images, design and software on our website and app, belong to us or our licensors. Brand names and logos of the products we sell belong to their owners. You may not copy or reuse our content without our written permission.
Liability
We provide the store with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (such as extreme weather, road closures or network outages). Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the laws of Oman.
Links to other sites
Our site may link to other websites and apps. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown on this page when you place an order applies to that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and the courts of Oman have jurisdiction over any dispute.
