The Ordinary Retinol 0.5% in Squalane is a moderate-strength retinol serum formulated to visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and skin texture irregularities. Suspended in lightweight squalane — a highly stable, skin-identical emollient — this formula delivers retinol effectively while minimizing the dryness and irritation commonly associated with retinol use. Suitable for those with some prior retinol experience looking to advance their anti-aging routine.
Apply a small amount to face in the evening as part of your skincare routine. Begin by using 2–3 times per week and gradually increase frequency as your skin adjusts. Always follow with a moisturizer. Avoid use around the eye area. Use SPF during the day when using retinol products. Not recommended for use during pregnancy.
