L-Cet Oral Solution contains Levocetirizine dihydrochloride (0.5 mg/mL), an antihistamine used to relieve allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny or itchy nose, watery eyes) and chronic urticaria (hives and itching). It works by blocking histamine, the substance responsible for allergy symptoms. The usual adult dose is 10 mL once daily, and for children the dose is adjusted by age. Common side effects: mild drowsiness, dry mouth, fatigue, and throat irritation. It should be used with caution in people with kidney problems and when driving or operating machinery.
