The Flamingo Thumb Spica Splint Medium is a support that stabilises the thumb and its base joint. It helps rest and protect the thumb after sprains, strains, minor ligament injuries or inflammation, as advised by a doctor. The medium size suits average-sized adult hands.
People with thumb sprains, strains, ligament injuries or thumb-base pain, as advised by their doctor or physiotherapist.
Slide the splint onto the hand with the thumb through the thumb section. Position the support along the thumb and base joint. Close the fastening so it feels secure but not tight. Check circulation and follow your doctor's guidance on wearing time.
Medium size. Measure around the wrist or palm and compare with the size chart on the pack; ask our pharmacists if unsure.
