Switch on and select ear, forehead or object mode. For ear mode, gently insert the probe into the ear canal; for forehead mode, place the sensor on the forehead as shown in the manual. Press the measuring button and wait for the signal. Read the result and note the fever indicator. Clean the sensor after use as described in the instruction manual.
